In a Year of Art in Ad Places

I last wrote about the Art in Ad Places project in February 2017, a few weeks into the year-long, anti-advertising marketing campaign. We’ve since completed our 52 week mission of replacing NYC phone booth ads with art. This Friday, we celebrate at Lucas Lucas with a show of my photographs of the project, each featured artist’s statement on why they participated, an installation from our friend Jordan Seiler, and a launch for the booklet we’re releasing about the project. Details of the show after some highlights below:
