This weekend, Brooklyn’s Pandemic Gallery celebrates a grand re-opening in it’s cavernous, new space by the Navy Yard. The art space will be inaugurated with a 528 foot wrap-around mural by EKG (artist feature and essay on Graffuturism), who will also debut a limited-edition print, t-shirts and other surprise goodies.

House band Fake Hooker will not only release their self-titled, 12″ studio album, but also treat revelers to a no doubt extremely loud and boisterous introduction to their latest tracks. The brothers behind the punk rock explosion known as Unstoppable Death Machines will also perform.

Noxer’s Book of the Dead

For fans of NYC graffiti, Noxer needs no introduction. Member of XTC, TFP, RIS, DOD… namsayin? For this solo show at Bushwick’s Low Brow Artique, Noxer’s dug deep into his blackbook. As one can expect from a true style originator, Noxer’s line drawings are highly inspirational, drawing from the iconography of ancient Egypt while remaining deeply rooted in NYC street life. Forget what you think you know about Noxer and come prepared to be surprised.
