A little over a year after news of the Underbelly Project’s existence deep within New York City’s subway system broke, Brooklyn Street Art today reported on the project’s latest iteration, a successful, streamlined mission into subterranean Paris with a select crew of 10 artists.
The spotlight on the Underbelly Project this week continues with a shift to a decidedly sunnier and warmer location, Miami, where the Underbelly Show opens this Friday, December 2nd. The evening will kick off with a signing of a special, limited edition box set of the We Own the Night: The Art of The Underbelly Project book at 6pm. I’m pleased to have contributed photographs to both the book and to the limited edition box set.
The full line-up of artists participating in the Underbelly Show include Faile, Dabs & Myla, TrustoCorp, Aiko, Rone, Revok, Ron English, Jeff Soto, Mark Jenkins, Anthony Lister, Logan Hicks, Lucy McLauchlan, M-City, Kid Zoom, Eric Haze, Saber, Meggs, Jim & Tina Darling, The London Police, Sheone, Skewville, Jeff Stark, Jordan Seiler, Jason Eppink and I AM, Dan Witz, Specter, Ripo, MoMo, Remi/Rough, Stormie Mills, Swoon, Know Hope, Skullphone, L’Atlas, Roa, Surge, Gaia, Michael De Feo, Joe Iurato, Love Me, Adam 5100, and Chris Stain. If you’re in Miami for Art Basel this weekend, I hope to see you at the Underbelly Show.
