Typically The Street Spot is a blog that focuses on art in the New York area, but from time to time we like to share pictures with you from our travels. I am posting from Oaxaca, Mexico, where I have had the privledge of being involved with this years Dia de los Muertos festivities. I did not come down here with an expectation of seeing a lot of street art or graffiti (other than Lapiztola), I was surprised to find murals adorning the streets between the various cemetaries and around the areas where comparsas were being performed. Though it was hard to stand still to take too many pictures while being crushed by thousands of celebration revelers, here are a few shots that I was able to get off:
