Natural Selection: Ludo in Brooklyn

The concrete jungle of New York has a new beast in town, in the form of the Paris-based street artist Ludo. He apparently hit the ground with wheatpaste & a brush in hand last night, getting up around Brooklyn with Dain. Best known for his Nature’s Revenge series, Ludo’s work blends the natural world with human technology. If you’ve never wondered what a flower would look like armed with satellites rather than pistils, that’s OK, because Ludo has. Keep an out for this guy, as it is guaranteed that he has plenty more work to share with us!

I’m Ready For My Close-Up

Fresh off of his participation in the highly successful Brooklyn Street Art organized benefit auction for Free Arts NYC, I’ve noticed several new Dain pieces on the streets of Brooklyn. Here is a personal favorite, which I am choosing to believe is a playful wink back at street art photographers:
