While I was in Austin this past week for SXSW, I came across a very interesting booth at Flatstock 24. Mixed in with all of the band posters were prints by two of my favorite artists out there, Broken Crow and Deuce Seven. I got to speaking with one of the people who was working the booth, the super great Ben of Burlesque of North America. As it turns out, they are a graphic design & screen printing studio based out of Minneapolis, which explaines the Broken Crow connection…Ben was also kind enough to turn me onto where I could find the murals that Broken Crow had recently painted around town, which gave me the perfect excuse to swing by some of my favorite restaurants in Austin.
Also, be sure to check out Mike from Burlesque’s interview with Broken Crow as well as their new print “Housing Crisis”, which is now available over the Burlesque of North America website.
