2nd Annual Int’l Urban Art Photo Contest

Do you have a passion for urban art? Do you spend your free time canvassing your city and obsessively photographing your discoveries? If you answered yes to both these questions, then you could be in the running to become the Next Top Urban Photographer!

Starting today, you can submit your work for Urban Artcore’s second international Urban Art Photo Contest. The jury (full disclosure: I am a member) is looking for top-notch photographs that incorporate elements of street art, graffiti, and/or urban decay. We’re not so much interested in straight-on shots of artwork, but in images that capture a certain atmosphere or mood and are representative of the creative energy that fuels the urban art movement globally. The top five photographs will be awarded some fantastic prize packages courtesy of Montana Cans, Publikat Publishing and Urban Stylistics.

To join the competition, submit your best work to one of the following two groups by July 25: on Flickr or Streetfiles.

You’ve got a week to get it together, so get crackin’!
